APEX is a multi-agent DeFi yield optimizer built on ERC-8004. Four specialized agents — Scout, Strategist, Guardian, and Executor — work in sequence to find, evaluate, approve, and execute yield strategies.
Every decision is recorded on-chain. Every agent earns a reputation score. The Guardian can veto any trade that violates risk parameters.

Scans DeFi protocols for yield opportunities. Analyzes APY, TVL, liquidity, and risk scores across Aave, Curve, Compound.
Ranks opportunities, sizes positions, and constructs optimal portfolios. Balances risk vs reward using on-chain data.
The veto power. Checks every trade against risk parameters. Can block trades that exceed volatility, drawdown, or reputation thresholds.
Executes approved trades on-chain. Records P&L, updates vault balance, and reports results back to the system.
THE VETO
The Guardian agent enforces risk parameters on every trade. If volatility spikes, drawdown limits are approached, or the Scout's reputation falls below threshold — the Guardian vetoes.
Every veto is recorded on-chain via ERC-8004. The Guardian earns reputation for knowing when NOT to trade. This is the core insight: restraint is a form of intelligence.
